Fetal Plus is 100% Unites States Origin Fetal Bovine Serum blended with alternate sourced United States Origin bovine sera from animals of different breeds and blood chemistry of those typically processed in slaughterhouses. The formulation is proprietary information and the property of Atlas Biologicals.

The combination of the different sera produces a product that works for a greater variety of cell culture applications not obtainable by any of the agents independently. Fetal Plus has been used effectively in a wide variety of mammalian and insect cells including human stem cells.

Every lot of this product is made from the same sources and as a result, the lot to lot consistency is excellent which cuts down on subsequent testing. Fetal Plus is manufactured using the same triple 0.1 micron filtration process as our 100% U.S. Origin Fetal Bovine Serum.
